Pippypopper Web Design is Mark and Denise Hayes, a husband-wife team. Denise creates websites using imagination and flare along with technical expertise; each is unique. Mark brings project managment and runs the organisational side of Pippypopper; he also contributes to the website designs.
Denise's previous career was a chef, and worked in rosetted, fine-dining establishments such as The George Hotel of Stamford, and The Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon.

She got into computers and Web Design after meeting Mark, who is a self-confessed computer geek. In a website, you have to balance colour, texture, graphics and information to combine balanced easy-to-use pages into a site that does what the client requires - bring in more sales.

Alongside creating websites, Denise is also gaining academic qualifications in Web Design and Technology at the Open University. She also currently works as a Train Conductor.

Mark's IT career started over 10 years ago as System Manager and Webmaster for Electronic Share Information (ESI) Ltd., now E*Trade UK. ESI broke new ground for interactive websites and e-commerce and was completely innovative in its day. Mark now specialises in web technology for scientific computing. He is an advocate for open source and intuitive, accessible, user-friendly design. He currently works at Cambridge University in the E-Sciences Dept.
